Luna on Pine
Mid-rise, 122 units of residential student housing in University City, Philadelphia.
Apartments for the next phase in life.
Luna on Pine is a state-of-the-art, transit oriented, multi-family mid-rise, located in the heart of University City and adjacent to the Main Campus of the University of Pennsylvania. The project features 5 stories on approximately ½ acre and includes a large landscaped courtyard, an extensive amenity floor, two roof decks, lounges on each floor and bicycle parking.
The efficiently designed residential apartments consist of 122 units ranging from studios to 2-bedroom apartments. Most units are “micro-units”. The project is targeted towards graduate students, medical residents, nurses, and young professionals in the University City area. Demand for the micro-units has been strong, partly due to the careful balancing of units with expansive amenity spaces.
The project was in collaboration with University of Pennsylvania who provided a 65 year ground lease to the developers.
The project is also unique in being the first 5 story wood-framed modular project in Philadelphia, and one of only a few on the East Coast.
Architecture gracefully respects local building vernacular while providing scale, technology and amenities of modern multi-family construction.
